Quick intro…My name is Prakash Channagiri and I am a Program Manager in Microsoft. Since I plan to talk a lot of shop later on, I will stop for now.
Been reading from Scoble’s Naked Conversations. Its been a little disappointing for me – Scoble and Israel go on and on about why blogging matters. Well, I knew that already! What I wanted was some tips on how to blog…you know Scoble being a successful blogger and all I thought he would have shared some of his secrets to success. Anyway, I am still at page 86 and I think in the latter half of the book he does share a tip or two.
Anyway, I got so bored (or should I say inspired?) that I decided to start a blog of own to see who is out there! If you do stumble across my blog please leave a comment or two.

Sorry you found the book disappointing and I can see why. It was designed to tell people why to blog, not how. There are lots of good books on how. Three of my favorites were written by Shel Holtz, DL Byron and Jeremy Wright. Just go to Amazon and you should be able to find them

Thanks much for your comment Shel! To be fair, what I wrote isnt exactly a critique of the book but rather a recollection of my own feelings as I went thro the book.
You are right – the book is about why one (especially businesses) should blog. Well, what am I saying…of course you right – you wrote the book after all! A look at the title of the book (Naked Conversations: how blogs are changing the way businesses talk with customers) gives an idea of what the book is about.
Thanks for your recommendations as well! I will certainly take a look after I am done with your book!
